Popped in here on a late Sunday morning. Place was moderately busy already. The interior is beautifully set up, adorned with aviation items, art and other items. The seating is cosy. I had a simple cheese scone and a flat white. Scone was nice and warm and the coffee was good.

Cute ambience and a great store attached. Ample parking and great staff ! WiFi is alright, not very fast but free. I had a latte and the coffee was good ! The aviation museum is right behind the cafe ! Friendly staff.

A well earned 5 star review. I have been to my fair share of remote and rural cafés across the world, but this is by far the best one I’ve yet experienced. Humble and a little tired looking from the outside, you will be transformed when you enter. The waitress team were friendly and attentive, the food was delicious and value for money, with a selection of brunch and lunch meals, as well as baked goods and sandwiches. This is nestled alongside a lovely shop full of great Mother’s Day gifts or newborn baby presents. I had the Nutella waffles…amazing! Bacon Nutella warm fruit and maple syrup…my morning made! With both indoor and outdoor seating options, with beautiful surrounding scenery, this is a must to stop at it you’re travelling across the South Island!

Not just a cafe but with aesthetic locally made shop inside. Beautiful ambiance to chill and talk about life, you’ll never know unless you go inside and discover it by yourself.

Great feed today. Worth the stop for anyone passing through this road. Cozy and warm ambiance specially on this cold winter. Has also a nice playground just outside the resto to keep the little ones entertained.

Great place to have breakfast and a coffee. Nice to have ciabatta bread you don't break your teeth on. Service was great and will keep the wife happy with a great shop part of the environment
